Tonight, the Euro holders and World Cup winning Spain take onGli Azzurri (The Blues) in what promises to be a fine finale for Euro 2012.

Italy triumphed against all expectations by beating hot favourites Germany 2-1, and that

Should tonight's game end up being decided from 12 yards, Spain would be very confident,

Vicente del Bosque has decided to not play with an 'out and out striker' which I find very disappointing and far too negative for an International tournament. I'm finding Spain very tedious to watch, as they make 10-20 passes but seem to end back where they started, without breaking through the defence, which defeats the object of football. I think a lot of people inside agree with me, especially the press/ pundits, but they are too afraid to admit it as Spain seem to have a certain 'superiority' appeal.
Players like Llorente and Mata have not even appeared so far, if they were in another team they would be head and shoulders over the rest, so why aren't they getting a chance? The key part to Spain's game play will be possession and wearing the Italians out with their pin point passing. Spain have a pass completion average of 91% in the Euros so far.

Tournament so far:

Spain 1 Italy 1
Spain 4 Republic of Ireland 0
Croatia 0 Spain 1
Portugal 0 Spain 0 (Spain win 4-2 on penalties)

Italy have played very well over the course of the championships, and played some promising football and Balotelli has really stood out for me, his finishing has been supreme up to now. Despite The uncertainty following Italy's match fixing allegations ,  it seems to not be affecting the current Italy squad and they seem to be rising above it.
Cesare Prandelli has opted to playing a three man midfield, which really suits Pirlo's attributes. I really think that if Italy didn't play 4-1-2-1-2 then Pirlo would be ineffective.

Tournament so far:

Spain 1 Italy 1
Italy 1 Croatia 1
Italy 2 Republic of Ireland 0
England 0 Italy 0 (Italy win 4-2 on penalties)
Germany 1 Italy 1

Top Scorer: Balotelli (3 goals )

My Prediction:
